After graduating from her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland, it took Louise some time to discover that her clinical passion lies in helping people recover from chronic pain conditions. She realised her interest in this area during the years spent working with clients who were recovering from major spinal operations, both within and outside of the hospital setting.
By adopting a client-centered approach Louise strives to attune to and understand the unique problems and needs of her clients, aiming to elucidate and address the specific factors contributing to pain and dysfunction. She hopes to optimise therapeutic outcomes through individual treatment planning.
Connecting to and working with people, to facilitate healing in this way, is a process which she finds deeply meaningful.
Louise describes herself as exploratory, warm and quirky. In her spare time, she enjoys martial arts and practicing her singing and guitar playing!
